BJJ Amersfoort competition blog!

Brazilian jiujitsu competitions are a great way to see where you currently stand in your own BJJ career. The BJJ Amersfoort team therefore traveled to Rotterdam last weekend to test their jiujitsu skills. The students of Amersfoort BJJ, Job, Jelle,Ruben, Pieter and Michiel showed that with a few months of training it is possible to apply the concepts and principles of Gracie Jiujitsu in practice, under high resistance. Ruben and Job won a gold and silver BJJ medal.
Participating in Brazilian Jiujitsu tournaments is not mandatory but it is advisable to do it once, to test how you do under pressure and resistance. We from BJJ Amersfoort can guide you when you feel mentally and physically ready. Also, you do not have to worry about age and weight as there are different age divisions and weight classes.
